XFinity Solutions IT System Integrator Launches Pilot Project with Robot Dogs for the Astana Police Department
Our company has initiated an innovative pilot project for the Astana Police Department, marking the first use of the Unitree Go2 Pro robot dog for patrolling and public safety monitoring in Kazakhstan.
The project aims to enhance response efficiency and support police officers in their daily operations. The Unitree Go2 robotic platform enables safe inspection of hard‑to‑reach areas, real‑time video transmission, detection of potential threats, and operation in environments that may be hazardous or difficult for humans.
As part of the pilot launch, our specialists adapted the robot‑control system to meet the needs of urban policing, developed a remote monitoring module, and integrated it with the department’s existing IT services. Equipped with computer vision and a suite of sensors, Unitree Go2 can autonomously navigate terrain, avoid obstacles, and relay data to the operations center.
The results of the pilot are to form the basis for scaling the project and expanding the use of robotics in the field of public safety.
